Terms of service
Relay is in beta and free to use. Before any charge we will publish the provider’s full details here (legal name, VAT number, address) and let you know by email.
1. Who we are
Relay (“we”) is an online service at app.relaygoo.com. Contact: relaygoo91@gmail.com.
These terms are the agreement between us and the business or professional who creates an account (“you”). You accept them when you sign up. Our Privacy policy applies alongside them.
2. The service
Relay connects your business’s messaging channels (WhatsApp, Telegram, Viber, email) and gathers the conversations in one inbox. It alerts your team and runs the automations you set up. If you turn it on, it drafts or sends replies with artificial intelligence (AI).
While the service is in beta, its features may change.
3. Your account
- Relay is for businesses and professionals. You must be at least 18 and authorised to bind the business you sign up for.
- We approve every new account and may decline a sign-up.
- You give true details and keep them up to date.
- You keep your password safe, and we recommend turning on two-step sign-in. You are responsible for what happens in your account and for the team members you invite. If you suspect someone else got into your account, tell us at once.
4. Third-party channels and WhatsApp
- WhatsApp, Telegram, Viber, your email provider, Slack, Discord and the AI providers belong to third parties. Their own terms also govern how you use them, and you must follow them, for example the WhatsApp Business policies.
- Linking WhatsApp with a QR code uses “linked devices”, like WhatsApp Web, and isn’t an official Meta solution. That’s why, on this connection, Relay sends nothing on its own: it sends only what you send or approve. Even so, WhatsApp may restrict or ban a number at its own discretion.
- For automatic replies on WhatsApp you use Meta’s official WhatsApp Business API.
- We aren’t responsible for outages, changes, restrictions or bans by these third parties.
5. The AI assistant
- The assistant’s replies are written automatically by AI models, based on the knowledge and settings you give. They can be wrong or incomplete.
- You decide whether the assistant only suggests replies or also sends them on its own, and you are responsible for what is sent on your behalf. We recommend starting with suggestions and trying your settings first with the app’s tests, which send nothing.
- If you connect your own AI account (Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini), what the assistant needs in order to answer is sent to the provider you chose, under your own agreement with them. They bill you.
- Relay’s AI has a daily usage limit per business.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use Relay for:
- bulk or unwanted messages (spam), or messages to people who haven’t given you their permission where it is required;
- illegal, misleading, threatening or abusive content, fraud or phishing;
- infringing other people’s rights or data protection law;
- attempts to access other people’s accounts or data, to get around limits or security measures, or to overload the service;
- reselling the service without our written agreement.
7. Your data and your customers’ data
- Your content and data remain yours. You only give us the right to process them as far as needed to run the service.
- Relay doesn’t sell your data, doesn’t use it for advertising and doesn’t train AI models with it.
- You make sure you have a lawful basis for processing your customers’ data and that you inform them, for example in your own privacy policy.
Processing on your behalf (GDPR Article 28)
For your customers’ personal data (messages, names, numbers and other contact details), you are the controller and we are the processor. In particular:
- we process it only to provide the service, following your settings and instructions, unless the law requires otherwise;
- anyone with access to it is bound by confidentiality;
- we apply the security measures described in the Privacy policy;
- we use the sub-processors listed in the Privacy policy, and we will tell you before any change to them, so that you can object;
- we help you answer your customers’ requests about their rights and meet your security obligations;
- we tell you without undue delay about any breach affecting your data;
- when your account closes, we delete the data as described in section 10;
- we give you the information you need to check that we keep to all of the above.
8. Charges
While Relay is in beta, it is free to use. If a subscription starts later, we will email you at least 30 days in advance with the prices and terms. You will be charged only if you explicitly agree.
Using your own AI account is billed by its provider.
9. Availability
We work to keep the service available and secure, without guaranteeing uninterrupted operation, especially during the beta. There may be maintenance, changes or features removed. For important changes we will let you know in advance where possible.
10. Suspension and termination
- You can stop whenever you like and ask for your account to be deleted at relaygoo91@gmail.com.
- We may suspend or close an account if it breaks these terms, puts the security of the service or other users at risk, or if the law requires it. Where possible, we will warn you first.
- When an account closes, we delete its data within 30 days, together with its encryption key. It leaves the backups automatically within a further 14 days.
11. Liability
- The service is provided “as is”. As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect losses, lost profits or lost customers, nor for what third parties do, such as banning a number or changing their services.
- Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.
- These limits don’t apply to intent or gross negligence, nor where the law doesn’t allow liability to be limited.
- You are responsible for the content you send through Relay and for complying with the law and with the channels’ terms.
12. Intellectual property
Relay’s software, name and content belong to us. We give you the right to use them while you have an account. If you send us suggestions or feedback, we may use them without any obligation to you.
13. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. For material changes we will let you know by email or in the app at least 15 days before they take effect. If you don’t agree, you can stop using Relay. If you keep using it after they take effect, you accept them.
14. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by Greek law and the Greek courts have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory rules that protect you. For any question, write to us at relaygoo91@gmail.com.
